Greetings from your intrepid explorer,…
 
WHAT WONDERS I HAVE SEEN!.....
Fled the assure shores of Miami after two days of palm trees and party ,
(leaving behind one roller skate, …and several important pieces of my brain)
for the grey sky’s of  New York, I LOVE THIS TOWN!,  The strand bookshop,
Chelsea market, café Havana, the east village, a lovely shop called change of season,
 in god we trust, the bowery, Gemma’s, Freemans, …walking and walking and walking, …..
Spent two nights lost in atmospheric smoke and reverb at Webster hall watching the big pink and the xx, donated my phone to a New York cab after staying waaaaay too late at the big pink after party, standard fun times tax……..
and gave my heart once again to the xx ,who have come so far with their live show, it was truly awesome, I would advise anyone, even if you have already seen them to go and see them again, and again and again and again, it was one of the best shows I’ve seen ….
 
.Oh and I have become addicted to hot 97 radio station,
it is the soundtrack to all my cab rides ..
My favourite songs at the moment are ‘over’ by Drake,
and Alicia keys ‘unthinkable (I’m ready)’  
(which was written by drake apparently, biig fan) …
OH. NEW YORK, ..small show at ‘le poisson rouge’,
 Tequila on stage = crazy after party dancing  + lots of bruises the next morning,
Decorated body in black and blue for Terminal  5 the next day,
Joan of arc battles the future outfit,.. Went very well with the industrial mad max décor, very nice to see David Byrne there, as he is a massive hero of mine, ‘stop making sense’ is a huge inspiration, everyone should see it,…best dancing ever in that film.
Left New York battered but triumphant,.
 
Thanks to everyone who has come to the shows so far, you have shown us a huge amount of support and made us feel very welcome,  It has made me very excited for Coachella, …

The band are all doing great, ..
Isa is wearing Versace trousers and reading a romance novel called Truly, Madly, Viking, the gist of it I think, is that a Viking gets transported from the past by a randy she whale, gets sectioned in the present, and then seduces his buxom but coy psychiatrist, ....
not that  I’ve read any of it of course.... ahem....
i have been keeping it high brow and reading catcher in the rye for the first time
(well I say the first time, what I mean is I never paid any attention in school),
buuut if any songs crop up about psychotic Vikings ...or she whales with the power to induce time travel, (yes.. I’m not shitting you, that is actually in the book) you will know where the inspiration came from......ok? Ok..

 
BUT ENGLAND DON’T FORGET ME COS IM COMING FOR YOU,
have started preparations for the UK tour, gonna add some old favorites, and perhaps a new song, …I miss you all.. But ill see you soon,
