Florence Triumphs At Ultra-Intimate iTunes Show
Wed 14 Jul, 2010
Florence triumphed at her ultra-intimate iTunes Festival show at The Roundhouse Studio Theatre in London last night.
Backed only by two acoustic musicians, Flo played a breathtaking set in front of just handful of lucky ticket winners.
Kicking off with ‘I’m Not Calling You A Liar’, Flo played an 11 song set including ‘Dog Days Are Over’, ‘Cosmic Love’ and finally ‘Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up)’.
Earlier in the night, Lauren Pritchard enthralled the 200 strong audience with acoustic renditions of her songs including Radio 1 favourite and current single ‘Painkillers’.
The entire show was streamed on Myspace Live and on iTunes from 8pm.
You can see photos of Florence and Lauren in action on the iTunes Facebook page here.
You can also pre-order a very special 6-track Florence & The Machine EP featuring songs from the show on iTunes here. The EP is released on Thursday August 5th.
