Absolutely incredible news - Florence has just been given the nod in this year's Grammy Nominations!

She's up against Justin Bieber, Drake, Mumford & Sons and Esperanza Spalding for Best New Artist at the legendary US music awards.

  • She's up against weak rivals. Mumford & Sons are probably her worst threat, as they made a really good alubum this year howver it does not top Florence's Lungs. She did not win best album for nothing! She is a pure musical genius as she has even written her own songs from when she was 16 years old. With such a powerful voice how can she not win it? I'm glad the Grammies have finally picked someone decent enough to win the award! Yay Florence, we all love you, best of luck xxxxxxxxx

  • YAY!!!!! I live in America and the new music is so bad. You're the best thing to come to America, when I first heard The Dog Days are over on the tv show Covert Affairs I starting jumping up and down in excitement and my mom started laughing. You and La Roux need to win your categories cause you two are such awesome singers. America needs to realize that the British singers are awesome, not our crapy rap people. the grammy people are finally starting to think about who they pick.

  • I live in the US and Florence + the Machine is the best thing to come around in a long time. It's about time the Grammy folks got their heads on straight. I hope that FATM win, they are the best and by far the most talented and imaginative. FATM gets me through the day.
