Florence Supports Music Matters
Wed 24 Mar, 2010
Florence thinks Music Matters - which is why she is lending her support to a brand new campaign that aims to remind everyone how amazing and important music is to our cultural landscape.
Music Matters brings together people from across the industry to highlight the profound value of music and to help fans identify legitimate music services on the internet.
A Music Matters trust mark has been launched to help audiences make the ethical choice when looking for new music. The trust mark is a widespread certification scheme which identifies legitimate music services. Leading music retailers will display the trust mark and host the Music Matters films on their websites. Look for it when you buy music online.
To allow the music to speak for itself, Music Matters has produced a series of short animated films that tell the stories of some of the inspirational artists who have dedicated their lives to music, including Sigur Ros, John Martyn, Nick Cave, Kate Bush and many more.
To find out more and to watch all the films - please visit the Music Matters website: www.whymusicmatters.org
You can also connect with the Music Matters campaign on Twitter or Facebook.
