Watch The New Video For 'Dog Days Are Over'

The brilliant new video for Florence and the Machine's next single, 'Dog Days Are Over', shot by the wonderful Legs is now available for you to feast your eyes on.

Premiering on the Sun website, the promo sees the raven haired Flo backed by blue backing singers, tribal drummers and a choir.

'Dog Days Are Over' EP is released digitally on March 21 with the 7” out a day later.

  • loved the red facepaint, will be doing my face like that when i see you in may! love new vid, but hate to say i find it to commercially pleasing, preferred the spontaneity and amateurness of the old one, but i vstill love you and your music more than anything in the world!!!!!

  • Just listening to rabbit heart and really fancy running through a field of flowers in my skimpies. What a shame it's freezing and I'm at the train station. Could do with that fur coat in the new vid, which I really hope is fake.

  • Ive been a huge flo fan for over a year now, i really think she should have stuck to the original, even though she said it looked cheap i still thought it was wonderful in thats how it should have been! If im honest i so prefered it when flo was not really known

  • Sorry, Florence - I thought you could do no wrong, but I really don't like this video - I love the song, of course, but I think trhat heavy make up is horrible, and only hides your natural beauty which always shone out before. You're a beautiful girl, so please don't be silly - it's the music that counts, not contrived routines like this. I speak as a big fan, Love and peace, Bill x

  • I have loved florence for almost a year now, and Im a very dedicated fan, but what was she thinking?! Why swap the amazing original for a ginger afro? Her songs need more story to them, hurricane drunk, you've got the love, kiss with a fist are all about florence dancing which are great in some videos. But I preferred the low budget original because it was a classic, don't be blinded by all the glitters and make up of 'Making It' as a singer. Show some more rawness and passion.

  • i preferre the original but still amazing! i dont like the fact that the backgrounds are always white now. :'(. oh well. i LOVE the coloured bombs!!! so cool! please go to number 1 in the charts! flo never disappoints! love her hair! it looks just like mine! is it tom playing the harp?she is soo beautiful! well done flo!xxx... another amazing music video! x
