2012 UK & Ireland Arena Tour Announced

Sun 20 Nov, 2011

The huge sound of 'Ceremonials' deserves to be heard in grand settings, so in March 2012 Flo will embark on her biggest UK & Ireland tour to date - a ten show, nine city trip around some of the biggest and best venues in the country.

This will be Flo's first UK & Ireland tour since May 2010 and for many fans the first time they will get the chance to see 'Ceremonials' performed live.

It will include a two night run at London's historical Alexandra Palace.

The dates are:

March 2 - Dublin, The 02
March 4 - Bournemouth, BIC
March 5 - Cardiff, Motorpoint Arena
March 6 - Nottingham, Capital FM Arena
March 8 - London, Alexandra Palace
March 9 - London, Alexandra Palace
March 12 - Glasgow, SECC
March 13 - Birmingham, LG Arena
March 15 - Manchester, MEN Arena
March 16 - Newcastle, Metro Radio Arena

Special guests for the entire tour will be The Horrors, while Spector will be opening on all dates except March 9th when Theme Park will open.

Tickets for all the shows will go on exclusive pre-sale via www.florenceandthemachine.net/tickets from 9am on Wednesday November 23rd.

They will then go on general sale from 9am on Friday November 25th.

Tickets will be priced at £29.50 for all shows in the UK, and €35/€40 in Dublin.

Any tips on how to make my 12 year old daughters dream come true and meet you? We nearly met you at the back of the pyramid stage but you didnt see us and got straight into your car :(

  • Whoa! What’s with the aggression? So Florence isn’t playing in Aberdeen, Boo Hoo! I’m disabled and will be travelling all of three miles to Newcastle which will be inconvenient and painful. I’ve had to travel down to London to see bands I like in the past! Sitting through the gig will be painful for me as well. Put up or shut up whiners!

  • Thanks in advance for taking a trip up to Geordieland I notice that it's the last date so the weather is the best possible (it can get a little chilly up here!).

  • Thank you so much for coming to Newcastle! I didn't think you would!

  • Anonymous - those of us complaining about Flo not playing certain areas - we don't live just 20-30-40 miles away from one of the venues - I live an hour away from Aberdeen, which is itself 3 hours by train from Glasgow. It's not just a case of jumping on a train. We are not out in the sticks, we are a major city but Flo's management have seen fit to ignore us on every UK tour. I also sympathise with the Belfast fans, they never get anyone either. You don't know how lucky you are down south!

  • GAHHH I literally cannot wait! Been waiting for this moment for well over a year now! FLORENCE LEONTINE MARY WELCH YOU GODDESS!:D

  • People complaining about where she is playing/not playing need to get a reality check, she doesn't really get to decide where she plays her management will do so. If you cared so much to get this angry about it, i'm sure you can hop on a train quite easily.
